Unimaginary Friend Cast

Informative, entertaining and very funny. The hosts have an engaging chemistry with one another and each personality seems to work as an effective counterbalance to the other 2. I’m especially entertained by David’s oftentimes outrageous sense of humor in addition to his in depth reports on Scientology. I admire Erin not only for her apparent intellect and life/cultural experiences, but also the way in which she is real, relatable and accessible by her occasional raunchiness.
This threesome seems like they would be a fun group to hang out with for an afternoon of conversation and the sampling of various cakes.

Pass on this one

I’ve listened to 10-15 of these podcasts (and don’t ask me how I went down that hole). There are times when the hosts say something funny or interesting, but for the most part it seems like they spend about five minutes preparing content for each show and mistakenly think that people will find entertainment in their banter. Erin seems to have just arrived here on planet earth because she knows almost nothing about history or pop culture beyond the past year and makes no effort to learn anything before the show. (Maybe she was homeschooled in a cave with no tv?) If you enjoy listening to someone act like every immature teen male that you knew back in the 1980s who describes everything/everyone they don’t like as “gay/fa**ot,” then David is the perfect podcast host for you. (Apparently, he’s in his sixties?) At first you’ll think David has some juicy, inside tea on the “S” cult weirdos, but then later you’ll learn that he exaggerates and “forgets” so much that you stop believing his scoops. Nathan, who does make some thoughtful and intelligent points, mainly seems seems sad and desperate. (I’m guessing he was the star of his high school drama department.) Again, a few funny moments, but mostly this is another study in narcissists who think they’re so naturally witty and awesomely talented that they should do a podcast . . . off the cuff . . . every week.
