Quality depends on guests

Thaddeus is pretty annoying. He thinks he’s cool but he is not, and he does buy into postmodernist crap like “there is no truth “, and also perpetuates myths like that the Irish used to be classified as black; garbage history.

Yet I am giving him a 4 star review because he doesn’t take himself too seriously, and he does have good guests sometimes. Bill Ottman, founder and CEO of minds.com, is fantastic! It’s telling that we all know the CEOs of Twitter and Facebook but we’ve never heard of this guy. Give it a listen.

Thanks Thad!

Strong Interviewer great discussions

I enjoy the pod. Interesting guests. I would love to see Thad do a show with Dr. Steven Novella. I think it would really take some interesting turns.

Constant battle

Interview 53 with Swami Prem Nirem felt like a battle of wills. Felt like interviewer has no patience. Didn’t stop and listen to the moments between breaths. Constant non verbal interruptions. Goes back and fourth between being offended and critical than praising Nirem. Felt no compassion even when the interviewee was crying. Perhaps spending some time in meditation would help.
