Why Did God Do That? | Matthew Tingblad

In this episode Caleb has a conversation with Matthew Tingblad around the goodness of God, pain, suffering and the existence of hell. We chat about the need for the church to be able to hold on to what they believe with faith and confidence amidst a tumultuous culture.

Matthew, an apologist, author and speaker with Josh McDowell Ministry, also unpacks some common mistakes people may make when reading the Bible.

Alongside bestselling author Josh McDowell, Matthew Tingblad in "Why Did God Do That?" writes about how a good God has good reasons for his challenging actions in the Bible.

It's a thoughtful conversation that asks questions about the Gospel and how we can reuniting with God and experience His goodness.

Relationship between Faith & Business with Ben Collins

Caleb and Ben dig deep into building an ethically sound business vs building a redemptive business and how investing in the lives of your employees and your customers is an example of exemplifying Christ to the world. I appreciate Ben’s encouragement to surround yourself with people who are actively challenging you to be the best you can be, then you in turn can be that person for others. Also, I’ve ordered the book “Second Mountain” by David Brooks per Ben’s brief review, to catch a glimpse on how best to join and encourage others on their trek called life. Thanks so much for the insight! Well done!
