Dr. Matt and Dr. Mike's Medical Podcast

I’m a podcast nerd so after pursuing my degree in nursing, I naturally searched around for medical podcasts that focused on anatomy and medicine in general. I first found Dr. M & M on YouTube. Then again on Apple Podcasts and decided to give it a listen. I wasn’t hooked right away, mostly because a lot of the info went over my head, as I was just fulfilling my prereqs for nursing. Jump forward to a few months and about to enter into nursing and the YouTubes and podcasts are critical to my learning. I read whatever materials I have from my class and then look up the same topic online or on the podcast. I find their info to be so helpful and I’m actually able to retain the information from both methods (Youtube — visually) and podcasts (auditory). At first, I wasn’t sure what to make of their banter and Dr. Mike’s jokes, but now that I “know” them, I find it to be hilarious, often laughing out loud while I’m driving or walking my dog. Unlike other podcasts, I listen to certain topics on repeat so I can understand it better. I listen at least 5 times to topics that are crucial for my A&P classes. Anyway, I never ever leave reviews but since the show has helped me so much, I decided to stop being stingy and share my thoughts with you all. Thank you Dr. M & M, your content is so helpful and I love listening to you guys, accents and all.

I happened upon this podcast about 4 months ago . I am a nurse practitioner in the US and absolutely love the information you guys convey , and with the -most needed- humor ! I am always informally teaching physiology to my patients ( and myself ) : thank you for this wonderful resource ! Caitlin Thomas
