Good, overall…

I very much appreciate the more balanced nature of the British presenters. As someone who was a Republican from my 18th birthday in 1986 up until 2016, I like that there’s an attempt, at least, to not default to casting shade on conservatives. That said, Nikki’s hyperbolic railing against conservatives is off-putting. There are plenty of us who feel very strongly, for instance, that immigrants and migrants hold a very important place in making America a better place. The Trumpanzee crowd does not represent how we all feel, and making blanket statements about “dog whistles” and such is not helpful. I’d go so far as to, ironically, say that the term “dog whistle” is a hateful dog whistle. You know the term “love is love”? Well, that’s true, and “hate is hate” is also true. You are not working on the side of love if you’re spewing hate. Seriously, the way she reacts reminds me of FoxNews commenters, only from the other side. So, anyway, no longer listening to this pod because of Nikki. I’ll stick to Americast.

Chris, Jarv, and Nikki do an amazing job of analyzing American politics. The blend of an American journalist and British commentators makes for a really interesting angle on what’s going on in American government and culture. And I appreciate its unapologetically progressive perspective, because conservativism in both countries has gone populist, violent, and crazy. the irreverent, but insightful vibe of this podcast is wonderful. It’s become my favorite politics podcast to listen to.
Great job in understanding nuance

The podcast captures a lot of the nuance in USA politics that most non-American podcasts miss. Good job guys.
