Vin hope ur well and enjoying retirement free from the usual boredom, aches and pains, or at least no more than a normal amount for folks of your (our) years.Speaking for the “Idiots collective” ,a collective thanks for all the years and musical experiences. What you shared with me/us over the years was a beautiful moment in time. Your voice echoed in our hearts, minds. When we here Towns, Meg Griffen, Larry Kirwin & yes even Howard, we sometimes are reminded of you. A smile appears, fades. We move on. As we hope you are moved on, happily enjoying life as best you can. These days watching “ idiots delight “ has taken on new meaning for me, we persevere with music and love in our hearts to a soundtrack you helped create for each of us. Hope we get to hear you one last time, like musician invited up for one last performance. If not adios, as you would say and” shine on you crazy diamond” And Thank you ! Dominick

I know WFUV radio says Music Discovery Starts Here. But for me, it started with Vin and Idiot’s Delight. And not just music discovery, (I still have every Grooves CD), but books and films and Bayonne. And his Bottom Line songwriter shows were some of the best live shows ever. So wonderful to hear your voice again Vin and Kate’s too. I hope you are well. You have enriched so many lives. Peace my brother.

Grew up dying college years and beyond listening to Idiot’s Delight from 8PM Sunday to whenever Vin felt like ending it on Monday Distinct shows but between Vin and The late Pete Fornatele (Mixed Bag), radio dominated Now WNEW is gone....WPLJ is gone as of two hours ago.
