    Give Thanks to the Lord (Melanie Watson)

    Giving thanks to the Lord is not something He needs from us to validate His goodness to us. He is good to us, because He IS good. When we acknowledge His goodness and give Him thanks, we see our life not through the lens of what we lack, but by how abundantly we are blessed. Those who truly know the blessing and abundance of God and are thankful, position themselves in humility, produce a culture of joy and are propelled into generosity and service toward the world He loves.

    As we prepare for an election week in America, it's of generational importance that we take a Biblical stance and that we haven't hit the snooze button on our responsibility as the Body of Christ. As we pray, engage, and vote...we do so with a calm, unshakable confidence in the Lord. He is calling us to declare in our cities and nation that we will remain faithful. That we will not be manipulated into being an apathetic Bride. That we will build, we will plant, we will pray, and we will be the Church for such a time as this. We've got fields to harvest. We've got a city and a nation that needs the true King, Jesus.

    Building the Kingdom Builds Our Faith (Melanie Watson)

    In the world, we work to earn a paycheck, but in the kingdom of God, we don’t work to earn anything. We work because we believe. We work because we believe in who our Father says we are and that He has sent us. We don’t work to earn love. We work to build a kingdom we believe in. We don’t work to enter the kingdom. We are born into it and so we work because we believe in the inheritance we already have. In the kingdom of God, we work because we believe, but as we work, our faith increases all the more. Working from our faith can break through things that come to steal our faith and will end up increasing our faith even more. Work builds the kingdom, but as we build, it builds our faith.

    Witnessing From the Inside Out (Wes Springer)

    What if sharing Jesus is not just an outside job, but first and foremost, it's an inside job. The Bible says, "For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks." I believe that when we are truly in love with Jesus, when He's the highest priority of our heart, and we live in intimacy with Him, we can't help but tell others about who He is and what He's done for us. When we really know Him, we can't help but make Him known! When we are on fire for Jesus on the inside, that fire can't be contained and will spread on the outside. True evangelism is not an event. It's an intimate relationship with Jesus that we live out and share with everyone we're around!

    An Offering of Extravagant Worship (Jeremy Springer)

    In John 12, Mary's extravagant offering poured out on Jesus was criticized as a waste by Judas but was called worship by Jesus. He declared in Matthew 26 that "wherever this gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will also be told in memory of her." In this teaching and exhortation, we open up the invitation of the Lord to move from being a giver to developing the heart of a giver like our Father who is extravagant in His generosity. We don't want selfish and lacking. We want generous and abundant. We want the joy of bringing offerings to the feet of Jesus and breaking it open before Him with tears of thanksgiving.

    Prayer makes a difference! It can alter the outcome of a circumstance or situation you are going through! Prayer is powerful because God has chosen us to partner with Him to see His purposes fulfilled on the earth. We are not just in a relationship with God, we are in a partnership. One of the greatest ways we partner with him is through prayer! A sign of a true prayer warrior is someone who prays when no one else can hear you, someone who prays with expectancy, and someone who prays continually no matter what their previous experience has been.
