To support ORR's new Community Freedom Center, we are training 31 employees and plans to hire 9 more. We’re discussing challenging real-life scenarios brought up during our staff training. A case involving a mother, under an abusive husband, who has trafficked three children and is planning to traffic two more. A monitor advised going to the police and offered support. We’re talking about the vital role of community support, the importance of fighting isolation, and the power of unshakable faith when facing heartbreaking situations like this. 13. Assistant to ORR's Country Director: What fuels your fight against human trafficking?

Redeeming Hope: What fuels your fight against human trafficking? Guest: Assistant to ORR’s Country Director and Freedom Center Manager Questions: 1.    What brings you the most joy about your job? What personally motivates you to work for ORR? 2.    When did you first learn about children being trafficked and the need for ORR to be in existence? 3.    What makes you most excited about what ORR is doing? 4.    What is the hardest part about your job. 5.    How does the ORR programs collaborate with local leaders in the villages? 6.    What are your hopes for the future of ORR? The love of Jesus motivates me in my work to combat human trafficking, a reality I didn't fully grasp until witnessing it firsthand. Meeting a teenage boy whose mother justified trafficking her children as part of her upbringing was a shocking and eye-opening experience. It's heartbreaking to see such cycles, but seeing rescued children smile, find hope, and embrace God's love is truly rewarding. One powerful testimony involved a boy who witnessed his father kill his mother and later forgave him after years of counseling and prayer. He even wrote a beautiful worship song thanking God for his love and protection. How to Connect or Learn More? 12. Trusting God's Greater Plan

Summary: Trusting God’s Greater Plan Remind yourself that God is BIG, capable of restoring and redeeming. Key themes include enduring in prayer, relying on God's sufficient grace, and recognizing His strength in our lives. God partners with us to fulfill His plans, turning personal dreams into His purpose. Incredible transformations, like a former trafficker finding Jesus, showcase His power and love for us. Trust that everything God plants in your heart aligns with His greater plan. Scripture: 2 Corinthians 12:9 “But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” (NIV) Ephesians 6:12 “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (NIV) John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (NIV) Guest Host: Chuck Olmstead: Experienced Director of Operations and Media Sales with a demonstrated history of working in the public relations and communications industry. 10. Stolen: A Mother's Fight for Her Children

Never Underestimate What God Can Do   Summary: Through reflection on personal faith and trust in God, we are reminded of His ability to work miracles through what we already possess. By asking the question, “What is in your house?” we are encouraged to consider the gifts, talents, and resources God has given us, trusting that He can multiply them for His glory. This process of partnership with the Lord invites us to surrender and believe in His power to do abundantly more than we could imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Story: A mother in ORR’s Savings and Loan Program returned from the capital city to the heartbreaking discovery that her brother had sold her children to a neighboring country. Undeterred, she fought relentlessly to bring them back. The uncle who betrayed her trust was able to retrieve the children and return them safely. Justice prevailed as the uncle was held accountable and prosecuted for his actions. Links: Inspired to Live an Extraordinary Life: Even through Difficult Circumstances by: Rebecca M.
