The Dark Side of Progress & Innovation: Remembering Who We Are While Creating the Future

The Dark Side of Progress & Innovation: Remembering Who We Are While Creating the Future

When does innovation and pioneering actually create unintended harm or set us back in our aim to leap ahead? Listen to this solo episode where I discuss the unintended consequences of innovation, how to create a grounded approach to creating the future while still rooted to our past, and the importance in doing so for the younger generations. I consider historical examples such as the Atomic Bomb as well as the importance of utilizing the knowledge transfer from those who have come before us when envisioning the future, while considering our own personal well-being when working towards a better world.

Ep 05: Whitney Speaks. How to Lead with Self-Trust

Ep 05: Whitney Speaks. How to Lead with Self-Trust

We so often turn to those outside of us to feel better and affirm our worth. What if we knew that our ability to lead ourselves was our best indicator of our ability to lead others? What if we saw the opportunity to turn within and cultivate our own inner strength as a deep wellspring of guidance, wisdom, and support? In this episode, I discuss the epidemic of women and men alike who have such mistrust in their own capacity to lead, and how we return to a state of wholeness as the leader of our own lives, renegotiating our relationship to achievement, to productivity, and harnessing a true capacity to lead with grace and strength. Learn about how we can become a self-sustaining mechanism that can turn towards ourselves first, and simultaneously turn towards others.

Ep 03: Whitney Speaks. The Power of Tradition & The Restoration of Beauty

Ep 03: Whitney Speaks. The Power of Tradition & The Restoration of Beauty

In an ever-changing and unpredictable world, how do we create a sense of belonging, a sense of place? With a culture so forward focused, it's helpful to know where we've come from in order to inform where we're going. Our collective psyche has become rather fragmented and fractured. In a sense we've become untethered and unmoored to that which grounds us; to that which nourishes us. In this solo episode, I discuss this more fully, and the ways we can return to the bounty of what is already here in front of us, through simple applications in our daily lives. Enjoy experiences I share of my time living in Italy, and how their culture supports a sense of legacy in its lasting traditions and values, as well as my love of cultivating beauty and intentionality through living a rich, and quality heart-led life.

I highly recommend Whitney’s coaching work. Her wisdom is profoundly deep and exquisite.
