Yo, Is This Racist?

At least as far as the dictionary definition of the word goes. This is one seriously racist podcast.

I used to really enjoy this show when it was about roasting the people who called in to ask a single simple yet frequently revealing question. The hosts - who are charming, talented, professional entertainers - have gone way off track in becoming a “political” show, apparently severely confusing themselves and their audience in the process. It’s become an object lesson in the uselessness of trying to fight racism while upholding capitalism and should be retitled something like How To Ignore Palestine Unracistly (A Guide For Slightly Left-of-center Dems). Anyway, I felt compelled to post this because I tuned in for the first time in ages (hoping to hear them break down the nomination of weapons industry buddy Walz) to hear them say that it’s “not really a political show” in the midst of a long Kopmala pep rally passing as an episode. (See the Lux Alptraum ep for more appallingly acrobatic apologetics.) Well, and because as a left wing Jew it’s my job to call this stuff out… yes I know the orange man will surely do double super turbo bad massacres instead of the moderate, humane and reasonable massacres being perpetrated now. I have to seriously question why anyone could support either party under such obviously horrific and deeply dystopian terms.
