So glad I stumbled upon this podcast. Julie covers all my favorite topics - passive income, real estate investing, early retirement. I especially loved Ali and Alison walker’s episode about retiring early and traveling the world. Great guests, amazing value... highly recommend!

You need to ask more specific questions of your guests, like what their financial position was when they went FI and the rationale behind it. What holdings do they have? All index funds? How did they specifically get to FI? What was their top salad or earnings in a year? What was their savings rate and how did they invest money? What about their specific expenses now? Most of the questions asked are fluff and literally a waste of time.

Loved this podcast when it was Gwen and Julie, Gwen’s experience prematurely FIRE-ing grounded Julie’s optimism. Since Gwen left it feels like the podcast is all about sponsorships and affiliate links - less genuine and less concerned with the listeners’ journeys than Julie’s. Signed up for the Blogging for Profit course and now get emails whenever Julie has new sponsored link, but nothing of value. Older content, before Gwen left, is great and very encouraging for those starting out.
