I started following GOD way back when on Tumblr and stuff. When the first episode of the Pod was aired, I was there and loved the show. What made the show so interesting was the hilarious dais of deities and demigods— from Moses to Psyche, Easter bunny to (my favorite) Santa. The show’s regular rotation of our most revered gods and influential figures made this show so unique, original, and hilarious. Bringing a lighthearted approach to the week’s hottest topics, highlighting important talking points, and advocating for the rights of those that have been othered: the GODPOD used to be my go-to for escaping the harsh realities I face on a daily basis. My I could hardly contain my giddiness when I would receive a notification about a new episode being available. Having a broad perspective and an eclectic panel of avatars, this podcast was gold! Holy Spirit brought a a fresh bird's eye view of the world served with a side of sass, the feminine side of the Holy Trinity was a pillar that made the GODPOD, the GODPOD. I found my deep love for God and Jezuz during the dark times of the covid wars. I had listened to a few episodes of other shows but, I connected with my bros at a higher level. I didn’t feel so alone and they had me laughing and informed. It felt like we were going through time together. I appreciate the effort of creating new episodes and mediums. I love “creatives” as in Creation 🥳 When you included Mary Magds, Joseph, Sykee, SATAN, Santa, JFK, Santa!, (easter bunny…pagan)and, all the Bible personages that have made an appearance, it was gold. You have grown before my eyes and I love how close you have been through it all. Keep up the amazing talent,of keeping me in stitches. God and Jesus are hilarious and bring me so much joy every week. Their commentary on current events is just what I need to get me through those tough days. I love how God often shows his gentler side when discussing tragic headlines and I just enjoy everything about Jesus, from his voice all the way to his love for T Swift. This podcast is the only true religion out there.
