Jake Ciely speed run wrap-ups the Week 9 fantasy football takeaways and news
Game on. You ducks! Time for the week nine speed round wrap up. Cowboys at Falcons Rico Dowdle. Yes! He is freed. Rico! Free! Rico. It'll be exciting for that. But the Dak Prescott injury clouds it a little bit. And of course Ezekiel Elliott could always be activated next week and back into the mix. But at least for one week we can get excited. And hopefully this is here to stay. And we'll be in the RB two conversation depending on what we get on news wise with Dak and everything else on the Falcons side. You saw Drake. London was hurt. makes Darnell Mooney take another step up, probably to the wide receiver two range. Hey, I apologize, it was a bad matchup for him, but really wasn't expecting the London injury or that massive pick play that didn't get called and freed him on that one. That was nice to see, but Ray-Ray McCloud could step up on waivers. He'll probably be in the column depending on the London injury. Dolphins at Bills Devon Chan continues to pull away from Raheem Mostert. Which I mean, look, you're starting a chain anyway, no question about that. But it makes Mostert more of a touchdown gamble looking for upside and shootouts potentially or maybe games. We think they could be leading by a lot. But he was going to need a touchdown to enter the RB two conversation on the bills side. Keon Coleman just three targets in this game and moved him up the ranks with no Amari Cooper. But as we've seen the inconsistency of Keon Coleman this is a matchup. The Dolphins defense not amazing exploitable against the pass. But sometimes they can be tough against the pass as well. And Josh Allen just didn't need to go to Keon Coleman as he kind of got locked up for a good part of this game. He'll have better days going forward, maybe a buy low depending if someone's going to panic in your league thinking that was the end of the fun. Raiders at Bengals Alexander Madison lost some work. And I'm laughing because hopefully you haven't been chasing the Raiders running backs. But Alexander Madison lost some work to Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White getting the goal line carry we might have Desmond Ridder time at quarterback will be interesting to see. Look still Jakobi Meyers and Brock Bowers. That's all we care about on the Bengals side. Chase Brown in the RB one conversation even if Zach Moss comes back, which sounds like it might not even happen because of the neck injury. And I mean, we're talking 90% workload for Chase Brown. Very enticing going forward. Chargers at Browns Quentin Johnston is back and all he does is score touchdowns Quentin Johnston Ladd McConkey are balling out for Justin Herbert. We knew about Ladd McConkey Quentin Johnston a little bit gamble but I think he's still going to be a wide receiver for boom or bust. Kind of a touchdown. Not complete reliant but big play and touchdown reliant. So there could be some down games some up games. Kind of like he's a wide receiver four keep him in your lineup. So you get the good you're going to get some bad with it. Nick Chubb good buy low opportunity. Quiet game hasn't been averaging a ton, a ton on the ground. They have a bye next week, but then guess what happens after the bye? They get the Saints. So yes go buy low on Nick Chubb. Patriots at Titans. Seems the Patriots are finally set with their top three wide receivers watching this game. Keyshawn booty, Kendrick Bourne and Demario Demario Douglas are the top three. Douglas the slot option. Drake Maye having some fun out there, but until he has some consistency with the wide receivers, going to be tough to trust them. But it looks like he's putting it together as the season progresses. That should be good. I would pick up booty off waivers I did in my home league. Titans Tony Pollard with no Spears again, just dominates. But as mentioned before, if Spears does come back, a little bit of a threat. If they have to play from behind and it
