Welcome to She Made Herself a Home podcast. My name is Rachel, and I’m your host. My hope is that you’ll leave this virtual space feeling inspired. My why is simply to help you create intention within your life, family and home. From conversations around marriage, family, home school, cooking, décor, and so much more- I want you to feel you’ve got a friend in me. Someone who can talk through life's joys and frustrations. Help you navigate the ins and outs of making your home a space you love to be in, and someone you can even laugh with because we have a crazy, loud dance party filled home. I live just outside of Nashville, TN with my husband and our two boys. Together, we run a real estate business, home school, DIY and keep up with our many passions. I’m mostly known for my thrifty finds and my ability to make the dollar count. Amazon is my go-to, and I tend to say I have an eloquent taste on a Target budget. My book, She Made Herself a Home, released in March 2020 and has inspired many of you to create intention within your home. In today’s busy world, its often impossible to have candid meaningful conversations about the happening's inside our hearts and homes. Some conversations we bury within us, hoping never to have to share. Some conversations we long to discuss, if only we had someone to listen, and some we simply never broach the subject of because we have yet to dig that deep inside ourselves. It is my hope those conversations will originate here. Together, lets discover who we are through intentional home tips, to hopefully make life easier.
