I have been wanting to surrender my wine problem for three years and have tried to moderate without success. I felt trapped in my nightly struggle and would just give in feeling stuck. My faith in Jesus is at the center of my life and I was looking for a podcast to help me on walks and found Sherry’s last year. She and all her guests gave me hope with their stories and biblical scripture. Thank you Sherry, I’m 2 weeks in to my transformation and give all the glory to God, not going back this time!

You are bringing awareness to a topic that is not brought to light enough. The mommy “wine culture” has made us feel as if we “deserve” to relax and wind down with a substance. The prescription medication thing is HUGE. It brought me to my bottom- brought me to my knees. For me, I bought into the lie that because it was “prescription” meds, that I could use them while trying to pursue recovery. I bought the lie I sold to others hook, line and sinker. Despite tighter regulations on the industry, this epidemic is still growing by leaps and bounds. Thank you for bravely sharing your story. I love what Stephanie said that God has to do a work IN us before he can do a work THROUGH us.

Sherry is real, unfiltered and a believer in Jesus Christ. Women struggling with anything can benefit from hearing her story and her guests. Christ centered recovery for Christian women is almost nonexistent- until I found this podcast! Keep on keeping on. Your efforts do make a difference.
