This show was recommended to me a few years ago by a friend, and I have looked forward to each episode every week. The hosts take on the games they play, the games they want to play, and the games they wish they could play make for 2 hours of great listening. The feel is decidedly non-corpo like so many other video game podcasts can get. I like how they will rip and praise any brand equally. The community around the show is fantastic and very supportive. Scott is the host with the most. The gaming outsider is a podcast you need to be listening too. If your into the world of gaming this is for you. Not only do they review games , they also go into great detail. They keep you up to date gaming news and more. Scott is a down to earth guy who is as real as they come.

I really wanted to like this podcast but they say blatantly inaccurate details in their news stories. On top of that they drop spoilers for new games constantly, are very negative, and bash PlayStation every chance they get. I don’t see the appeal.

I was searching for a video game podcast for awhile and when I came across The GO I was pleasantly surprised with great sound quality, a solid script that makes each week familiar, but in a good way, and a crew that is friendly and relatable. All around a solid podcast with great hosts!

I found this podcast a couple years ago and have been hooked ever since! Scott, Zack, CB and the newly added Alyssa all blend together nicely to give their takes on games and gaming news, both new and old. Listening to this crew chat about games gives me a certain comfort and makes me feel at home. It’s been great for my mental health as well, helping me calm down and deal with the stress of the crazy world we live in. So, I’m happy to finally pay it forward with a review. These guys have became one of my most favorite podcasts!! The way they interact with eachother and the quality of the episodes are great! If you want news, thoughts and more about video games these guys are definitely for you! I learn a lot from the podcast and a particular member Zack who helps me with any questions about games I have! Thank you guys for making awesome podcast episodes!!

Please stop saying spoilers for the Mandalorian! This is the second time. I love the show otherwise but this is becoming a deal breaker. Update: Thanks for the apology. I know how hard it is to talk about something that your excited about without talking spoilers. And I appreciate the promise to avoid them in the future. Loving the discourse among the hosts.
