A couple weeks back, Clayton sat down to record an episode with David Pyle. You may recognize David from his youtube channel, Fishing with David Pyle. David puts out some super awesome videos, with a ton of great information. David is an excellent fisherman, and is the true definition of being a student of the game. David has spent countless hours learning many different techniques to target Chinook salmon throughout the Pacific NW. In this episode, we really dive into depth about targeting these fish on the willamette river system, and the different techniques in which you can do so. We also talk about David's guide business, and how his guided education trips differ from a traditional guided fishing trip. This week, I had the chance to sit down with Taylor Cosby of Wildfin Rod Holders. Wildfin manufactures high quality aluminum bank fishing rod holders. He is also extremely successful in plunking for salmon, and steelhead on the Columbia River and its tributaries. This Week, Clayton sat down with Josiah Darr, of JDarr Guided fishing. Josiah is a lifetime local to Scappoose Oregon, & is extremely successful targeting spring chinook on the Willamette river system, More specifically, the Multnomah Channel.



We go over some tips and tricks to help you be more successful targeting these fish on the smaller system.

We also dive into the basics of curing coon shrimp for salmon and steelhead.
