What A Scream

This show deserves more listeners. Ygraine does a great job not only with the fun horror discussions, but prioritizing inclusivity to the topics, and bringing the right people on the show to begin with. Queer, trans, and nonbinary contribution is routine, without even having to be for some special reason, and it’s the rare movie podcast that brings in disabled and/or chronically ill voices to assess the genre. Her own perspective is a constant presence championing these communities. The Irish-ness is awesome, and there’s also a great choice of intro/outro song, which perhaps seems mostly irrelevant, but always makes me want to come back and hit play again.

Fantastic discussions that go way beyond simple commentary on horror flicks. I love the deep discussions regarding story telling and culture. Highly recommend!
