59. Your Gift Is Not Only For You w/ Joanna Smith, Engineer, Stem Educator, Recording Artist

Joanna Smith is a Geotechnical engineer and STEM educator. She has now opened her very own STEM camp in the Northeast Bronx for the summer of 2021. The goal of Daley Smith STEM is to expose 500 students within the NYC area to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics to create more leaders in STEM fields over 5 years. The STEM camp is currently running for 6 weeks and serves as an educational tech company for students ages 5-15. Students are taught the basics of coding , electrical, mechanical engineering, finance and wealth management. Students are also taught physics and forces through the physical activity of Rollerskating. Additionally, students are involved in action learning through building and designing their own skates. Joanna Smith is also a song writer and vocalist. Her single “Live Forever” was just released. As a songwriter and artist she is known for her bold sound and message that serve as a reminder of the importance of introspection and consecration.
