Every two years one-third of the Senate’s members are either elected (or reelected) or vacate the seat at the end of the term. When this biennial contest does not coincide with a presidential election, it is called a “midterm election.” Such elections often receive less attention than presidential contests, but midterm elections have influenced national politics and predicted major turning points in the history of the United States of America.
History seems to be repeating itself this cycle as well, as the Republics of the GOP seem to be getting gains in the elections, and also hoping to take back the House of Congress which is controlled by democrats now. And, the faith of the senate seems to rely on the crucial senate race in Georgia which is between Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker. This is considered the climax of this election and is predicted to go neck-to-neck and results are expected only late into the night for the USA.
