What does a career in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion look like?

JOB SEARCH EMPOWERMENT NEWS

Alejandra Ayala is a Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Consultant & Career Coach. She is also a former Google contractor who worked in human resources building equitable systems. Her trajectory took her to Walt Disney and Adobe before landing this amazing job at Google. But she felt that she was in a box. She couldn't stretch and expand. She opted out and decided to use her experience to help others achieve their goals as a career coach. It was a pleasure to speak with her and talk about the candidate experiences, interview processes and impactful storytelling. According to Layala, "storytelling is the hardest skill for job seekers to master."  She can be contacted via LinkedIn.
