What Happened When

I love this show and have listened since the start but it just doesn’t feel fun like it used to be. Tony shoots everything fun down. Conrad has to beg and plead to get Tony to speak more than 20 words in a 1 hour show even when it’s about helping promote AEW. I really hope Tony still has fun doing the show and isn’t just forcing himself to do the show at this point just because he feels like he has to. At this point it feels like the latter. Although, ultimately my opinion doesn’t matter, it’s just my perspective as a long time listener.

I used to really enjoy the show, but ever since Tony got hired in AEW, they spend more time talking about that than what they’re watching.

Any true old school wrestling fan will enjoy this podcast, for both the nostalgia and for Tony’s old school take on today’s product. Dude has grown and evolved with the business, which means there’s hope for all of us lapsed fans as well. Maybe it’s not for everyone, but it’s been a favorite for me since day one. If you say it’s never made you laugh, “you a lie”. Keep up the great work guys!

If Conrad’s other podcasts are too sophisticated for you, try this one. These 2 seem to have mastered crassness and vulgarity. If you’ve never surpassed Freud’s psychosexual anal stage, this podcast will also be of much delight to you. I’d much rather listen to Jeff Jarrett than Tony. He at least sounds like a decent person.
