Today, Dr. Michael Dauphinais sits down with Dr. Jim Papandrea, author and professor of Church History and Historical Theology, to explore the Christian understanding of the afterlife. Drawing from early Church Fathers and his book What Really Happens After We Die, Dr. Papandrea presents the resurrection of the body in heaven as a joyful reunion, and discusses how modern misconceptions about the afterlife differ from the Christian vision of eternal life. They also consider how to recover a hopeful view of heaven and confidence in attaining it through God’s grace.
