Long time listener of your show for over 6 years and love it! Have a question about TSLA. I know you not the biggest fan as you have more of a value investing philosophy that I respect and follow in my longer term Roth account. However in my more speculative play money account I have 1000 shares of TSLA amongst other share of other things. I accumulated the 1000 shares over the course of 9-12 months ago when TSLA had its big pullback via selling cash secured puts on the company and being assigned to the shares. My average cost on my 1000 shares is $182.30. Heres my dilema, as I got assigned those shares I started selling covered called on those shares and as the price kept skyrocketing, I kept rolling the call contracts higher and further out. My call contracts are now at a $310 (12/18/2026) strike so WELL in the money and really far out!! I could buy the 10 contracts out at $172,580 as of today with the stock price at $390.97 but that would cap my gains at $36,085. I still believe TSLA will keep going higher through innovation and Elons political ties to the White House and more relaxed regulations for full self driving and etc. My question is what would you do in this situation or how would you unwind these call contracts for more potiental gains in my situation?
