    Disordered eating is sadly a common co-occurring symptom of ADHD. Many of us have gone through decades of not understanding why we have battled with these challenges, and then after we receive a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis, we're able to understand why it presented itself. This is a powerful conversation that focuses on how emotional regulation plays a vital part in preventing and treating eating disorders. This week's guest is Thomas Midgley, a behavioural and cognitive psychotherapist (CBT) and dietitian specialising in eating disorders. Having worked in the field for more than 18 years, Thomas has a deep understanding of the delicate balance between body image, emotional health and the challenges neurodivergent people face when it comes to disordered eating.
