We have used our research about Black couples and our work with individuals and families over the past two decades to develop courses that approach relationships realistically and from a Black perspective. Some evidence of our effectiveness can be seen in our own family through our romantic partnership that has spanned over 26 years of marriage with 4 sons who we have supported and nurtured as they learn to navigate adulthood.
