    REV-elations #5 : Bitter Branches w/ Tim Singer & Jeff Tirabassi

    REV-elations #5 : Bitter Branches w/ Tim Singer & Jeff Tirabassi

Welcome to another REV-elation! This time we have a rad talk with Tim Singer & Jeff Tirabassi of the band Bitter Branches. Tim is a Rev Alumni (Kiss It Goodbye, anyone??) and Jeff played drums for Jade Tree recording artists Walleye (who did a split with Damnation a.d. so there's another Rev connection) as well as played in a band with our very own Greg a couple years back called Easy Creatures. Anyway, Tim and Jeff have a new project called Bitter Branches and we are proud to announce that TODAY (8/10/2021) you can now preorder their brand new 2 song 7" single from Equal Vision Records. We sat down with them to talk about the band, the record & the future. So go order the new single, be on the lookout for an LP in the fall, and go see them on the road this fall playing with bands like School Drugs, Verbal Assault & more.

Episode 035 : Into Another "Ignaurus" w/ Drew Thomas, Peter Moses & Richie Birkenhead (& special guest host Jeremy Chatelain)

It's a big one! Into Another "Ignaurus" is one of the albums we have been looking forward to discussing since day one and the time has finally come. We pulled out all the stops for this, chatting once again with Richie, Drew & Peter. Jason had to sit this one out so we brought in our friend Jeremy Chatelain (Insight, Handsome, Jets To Brazil) who toured with Into Another during this era on as a surprise guest host. We hope you enjoy!

My favorite HC - Rev. My favorite HC podcast - WIW

All I can say is if you grew up on hardcore, this feels like a shared language, and sometimes like the weird ones twins make up. Very much appreciated, and makes me circle back every time. I like that it’s not just fanning out and like an honest dissection and criticism from everyone involved.

Great show.

One of the best music podcasts out there. For someone like me that grew up with these records this is awesome.

I can’t wait for the Kiss It Goodbye episode!!!!

Hardcore Delight

I’m loving this podcast. Jav, Jason, and Greg really engage in conversations with the musicians about the writing process of these records. They let the performers tell stories about the chemistry that produced the records or made the early shows special. I also appreciate that there aren’t endless arguments about which is the best song - they understand that while one of them may love X song on the record the most, that other folks will have a different hot track. And most importantly, they avoid getting into the weeds about vinyl pressings.
