Where You Been, Loca?

WYBL is a wickedly funny, blunt, and oftentimes right-on-the-mark podcast that dives deep into the chaos that is Twilight. These ladies have dedicated countless hours to mapping out the winding roads of intricacies of the Twilight universe – bless their hearts – while managing to make you smile with every chapter review. I find myself laughing throughout the episodes because, even though I was a Twi-Hard for most of my adolescence, it’s easy to see how cringe-worthy most of these books are. I read every book and attended every movie premiere (oh boy!), so this podcast is still a treat for me to listen to, but also to find humor in the moments that stole my breath away when I was a little girl. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that used to shine bright as a Twilight, but now sees the books for what they’re worth – a multi-novel experience that made you want to fall in love with a vampire when you were a teenager, but now makes you question your taste in literary work… Well done, ladies!!

I truly love this podcast, it makes me feel like I’m back in the early 2000s discussing who was better Edward or Jacob, but with an adult perspective. The hosts are absolutely hilarious and I could listen them talk about anything. I wish this podcast was out when I read Edward’s perspective of twilight cause damn…. 5/5 starts must listen!

This podcast really brings me back to reading twilight in middle school! I love to hate, and hate to love twilight. It’s also nice to here Marissa, Kala, and Ariana catch up on these episodes. They are so funny and relatable!

Such a nostalgic experience! I read twilight back in high school and saw all of the movies in theaters. Also - listening to these friends talk about a series that I hate to love is the best. Excited for what’s to come!!
