    What must it feel like and take of a young woman to be a medical school candidate when you see the intersectional complexities in healthcare, particularly for women - ALL women. Hiba Siddiqui, a South Asian woman advocating for not only her community, but for all. She has recently graduated with a Health Science degree, but also Medical Spanish Interpretation. Hiba is pioneering the intersection between medicine and a growing Latino community within the U.S. Focusing her research toward women and cardiovascular representation (we largely only know how cardiovascular events impact a man's physiology), Hiba is also focused on the intersection between not only biological composition, but also that of cultural and ethnicity in translational cancer research, particular in breast, bladder, and prostate.     Raslyn Wooten has been on the receiving end of some of the most horrifying workplace discrimination experiences you'll ever hear...and being in PR, her work publicly spoke for itself. She fought a discrimination case in federal court and won over a million dollars because of her ability to document and organize her case. Through her own court case, she began what started as a blog, writing about her experience with workplace discrimination that then became a career lifestyle magazine for black women called Notable. She interviews women 4 times every year to hear their story of discrimination because reporters and journalists had been claiming that they couldn't find any black women to talk about it. Through this work, she further created JobMinder365, an app that is a journal for you to document all details about your job - the good, the bad, and the ugly - along with your employee handbook so that you have everything in one place when you're ready to pursue action.     Carolyn Lewis spent much of her early professional years out on the open waters in maritime and anti-piracy operations. This is where she was met abruptly with the lack of knowledge around women's health, as she was the first one to have her period on a ship! There were no provisions, so she set out on her own to educate and support male dominated industries to support women appropriately as it relates to perimenopause and menopause. We cover a range of topics including a breakdown of the 30+ symptoms of perimenopause, the stages of the process - again on average, because it will impact each unique individual differently. She learned that upon becoming a whistleblower for the US government, she became a target of data theft in which the actual vetting process to become an employee, was used in retaliation. She is now educating others that rather than turn away in fear, step forward in knowledge.     Did you know everything on the inside is connected? I ask somewhat facetiously because, of course we do, but somehow through adulthood and autopilot, we forget. Artisha Rawls is a nurse, a "lymphatics geek", and an expert on not only connecting all of her knowledge, experience, and lived experience, but for finding ways to connect and support all walks of life heading into any sort of uterus augmentation or removal. She got the second opinion, she met with physicians that looked like her, and she still felt like she had the wool pulled over her eyes - following another person's will for her own body.
