Justice for Tamara

I stuck with it because stories of injustice like this deserve it. I'm sure for locals or anyone who knew the basics of the story there isn't anything new at all but for someone who knew nothing it's informative, though not riveting because it's quite drawn out. Upon googling Kuame Kilpatrick I saw he was hanging out with the likes of Kim Kardashian just a few days ago. That seems grotesque under the circumstances. He grossly let down his city & is now living his best life, just like all politicians seem to be allowed to do. Meanwhile Tamara's family have zero closure. Surely an innocent mayor or ex mayor would want to actively help solve this case?!
Hard to follow.

I love a good podcast. I also love a good story, but the way that this is told is kind of all over the place and too many pauses of music. I also have to rewind because I get distracted. I hope to finish listening but it’s not looking to good.
Good podcast, horrible sound engineering

I believe I would have enjoyed the podcast, but it was impossible to hear and understand interviews due to poor sound quality!!

There’s more to Strawberry than just being an exotic dancer at the time of her death. She was a mom, a daughter, cousin and friend. The only new interview included in this podcast is with Tamara’s daughter and to be quite honest - the host asks uncomfortable questions that border on inappropriate. Yes, the interviewer wants to make a good podcast, but losing sight of the pain this brings her family members is hard to listen to. The host tries very hard to connect the former mayor with Tamara’s tragic demise that ultimately doesn’t go anywhere. This is more of a recap on the former mayor and what led to his downfall than it is about Tamara.
