Good series, add vegetables on plate as part of daily routine

Cooking made easier and less stressful. The older i get, the more i dislike cooking as a daily necessary function. The whole shebang of planning, shopping, having energy to prep and then feeling like cooking when the hour comes has become a real drag. I did pick up a few helpful hints here. The old notion of having a repertoire of several meals to tweak was a really good reminder for me. The missing part in this little series was the task of putting a meal together as opposed to just one quick dish. It strikes me that WaPo recipe/cooking consultants and advisors don’t take into consideration the idea that meals should pay attention to composition, i.e., more vegetables on plate rather than just protein and carbs. Maybe i’m wrong but i don’t think just pizza or a pasta with red sauce is a healthy composition for a meal.
