Rob Rossi, the homer, the negative grump. A little bit goes an entirely too long way.

Nothing like a “prospect” podcast to make my eyes glaze over. With all the stories & drama in the opening weeks of the season, we get to reshuffle the draft which is more in line with the off season/summer.

I never miss an episode of this show. Absolutely fantastic through all the rotating hosts. But please do not ever let Rob Rossi on the show again. He’s just a grumpy, negative, annoying curmudgeon. He’s the only guy who can make me wish for Michael Russo. Just bloody awful.

Love the episodes with Hailey Salvian. The episodes she host don’t feel cookie cutter and aren’t just repeating the same takes I hear on every other hockey podcast. Avoid listening to all episodes with Mark Lazarus. I feel like he’s always whining and generally lacks empathy. Really wish they had more non-NHL coverage, but they default to hockey=NHL with a few crumbs from other leagues scattered throughout the year.

Max and Laz are the best.

I enjoy this podcast when hosts/guests like Max Bultman, Frank Coronado, Pronman, and Wheeler are the main contributors. I simply cannot stand to listen to the episodes with Hailey and Sean (especially without Max as a moderator). Hailey in particular is such an unserious host and seemingly makes it her mission to constantly derail the discussion to talk about herself or other mundane (non-hockey) topics. I would wager that most listeners would prefer not to have to suffer through her self-absorbed “weaves” just to hear a little hockey discourse.

First time listening to this and found the discussion highly oversimplified and nearly unlistenable.

Hailey’s millennial apathy drags down the rest of the contributors.

But why is Hailey Salvian still a host? She only wants to talk about what she wants to talk about; shamelessly tells the audience- I don't care about that team; then her other personality appears to quickly rectify her response and provide bland commentary in an odd bipolar attempt to save the debacle. Ugh. I love the female representation, but Hailey consistently whines, talks over the other hosts, and her commentary swings between being oddly adversarial, or dominating the conversation because she knows she can - as the other hosts are literally walking on eggshells the whole time. There has got to be better female hockey journalists for this job. It’s baffling.
