Samantha Brand, or Sammie Bee as most of you know her, joins me as we discuss our shared practice of getting out of our head and into our life through writing as both a release and a legacy. Sammie tells us a little about her life as a daughter and sister, pro soccer player for Haiti and in Sweden, wife, mother, and more recently, as a widow to Sammie's late husband and father of their beautiful 3-year old daughter. Sammie is a published author, poet, performer, teacher, podcast host of the Pitch to Purpose podcast, and founder of a writing community called "Yeah, Write," where Sammie coaches us up in writing through daily prompts, challenges, and her first SOLD OUT retreat.
