Gina Greene, long time yoga practitioner, teacher, bodyworker, mother, and writer is in love with the mystery and beauty of this life. Inquisitive, engaged and enthusiastic about leaning into the fullness of life, she hopes to share some of her writing with you, reflections, meditations, wonderings and perhaps even a little poetry. Gina is interested in exploring the intersection of her work and personal life, practice and living with the written and spoken word. Her contemplative writing invites you to soften into gentle, open and available presence with room for healing, learning, enjoying and becoming.

The Invitation
Today, I will be sharing what appears to be the invitation of my life. It is a culmination and a distillation of ideas and concepts that bring me closer to truth, health and the experience of connection. Perhaps it might speak to you in a way that calls to your innate knowing, wisdom and the freedom to create your own path into heart centered wholeness.

Inner Landscape: Meditation
Today, I will share a meditation that takes us on a journey through our inner body. This is a quiet, restful exploration that can be used as Yoga Nidra or perhaps another way to ready the body-mind for sleep. I’m hoping to initiate a way of traveling through the systems and experiences of the body to gather information, to release the grip of living and to invite the softening that often arrives with the light of our attention.

Today, I am interested in sharing an experience of the breath. For me, the breath is a direct and gentle way into relationship with self in the moment. It softens my responses and allows me to settle, gentle and open. Let’s take some time to enjoy the sweet and steady nature of the breath.

Gentle into Rest: Meditation
Today, I am interested in sharing a subtle inner journey that will invite the body and mind to gentle into a state of receptivity and rest. You might find this most useful before bed. We will take a moment, here, to note our worthiness for rest and then to invite our curiosity to turn towards the subtle experience of self.

Relationship to Rest
Today, I’ll be sharing some thoughts and stories around my relationship to resting and sleeping, how it has changed over the years and become a more integrated part of my living. Perhaps you’ll discover a desire to explore this journey too…

What is Yoga?
Today, I will be sharing some thoughts about yoga, how it might be perceived and how we might choose to be in relationship with it. What is this ancient and contemporary practice called yoga?
