It's a shame the release schedule and lineup are always a little unstable. Chris Kohler is shockingly smart and entertaining.

I started listening to this podcast after hearing Chris Kohler guest on Retronauts and as I suspected his knowledge of games isn't just limited to the past. He's flanked by two equally educated co-hosts that help round out a solid show

Podcast content is mostly good but it's infuriating to notice that they do this via Skype with bad mics and on a weak Internet connection. You always hear weird audio artifacting and connection drops on their end. I often hear echoing of a guest's mic on the host's mic as well. If I had one BIG suggestion for this podcast, it would be for the team to get better audio equipment and stop using Skype.

Wired's gaming podcast features some great gamers. They are a smart assortment of writers. Unfortunately the game snobbery is too much. They talk Japan (Nintendo) games focused talk and ignore the rest. No sports. No shooters. No adult themed games. Not funny. They cover the gaming news well but avoid any controversy.The weekly gamer-trash collection talk has become miserable to listen to. It's ok. Not as bad as most gaming podcasts but not good.
