She bravely and openly shares the steps they took to rebuild trust, including open communication, accountability measures, and the use of software like Covenant Eyes. Miriam emphasizes the importance of both prayer AND action in overcoming addiction, the role of community, and the need for men to have other men as accountability partners.
Note: Porn addiction story episodes are some of the most popular episodes on this podcast and it's because of people like Miriam (and past guests) who are willing to be courageous to help others in this current life struggle. Therefore, I encourage anyone touched by certain episodes to write to the guest via Instagram to thank them for their courage, so that they know speaking on this podcast was beneficial and worth it... even though its usually terrifying! Thank you!

Choosing to Use the Medical System for an Actual Medical Need in Birth | Celena's Story

Choosing to Use the Medical System for an Actual Medical Need in Birth | Celena's Story

Celena Martin (@ceeingyouthrough) is a doula, wife, and mother to her son. She shares her incredible story of waiting two years until she became pregnant, with God giving her an astounding dream the day she conceived, that plays a pivotal, essential role in her birth story. She did not partake in common medical surveillance throughout her pregnancy, until her body showed her a symptom to seek help. Celena's story is an example of using intuition to guide our decisions, being still when we are called to be still... taking action when we are called to take action... and utilizing the medical system in birth when there is a medical need!
