On this episode I’m joined by Boston based activist Akil Reynolds who currently works as a State Advocacy Manager for Community Catalyst: a health policy advocacy non-profit organization. In order to tell the story of how With Love & Rage came to be, it only felt right to tell this story with Akil who has been a part of every step on this journey. Deep and emotional

The show host doesn't hide away from her vulnerability. She takes chances but not for the sake of it, but to share learnings with the listener. It's also not just about her, but the people around the area that are the cells that make the city what it is. The openness she brings to each episode gives us an opening to her world. To love and to have rage are two intense emotions that we are often afraid to explore, and try desperately to hide from. Angela offers an alternative.

Relevance, Truth and Vulnerability

Listen to you feels like you are verbalizing my Interna thoughts that I’m too proud to say out loud and it feels so amazing to hear that it’s not just me feeling and thinking the way I do.
Thank you Angela Loca!!

Social Justice Podcast with vision

This podcast brings up important topics that helped me understand and navigate the internal and external battles of love and rage in everyday life. Brings forward clarity on vital concepts of multiple truths and white supremacy.

Conversation that makes you shift in your seat in deep thoughtful on how everyday we are able to dismantle internalized systems of white supremacy and patriarchy and uplift queer and trans folx of color.

Engaging dialogue brining in authenticity on how we extend activism and social justice in our own lives to be able to do this work with love.

Angela's work has soul and spirit and she is able to hold space for these transformative conversations in a very refreshing and graceful manner. Looking forward to the season!
