    Building a relationship with Allah

    Assalamu Alaikum girlies. Al-Bukhari (6502) narrated that Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “Allah says: ‘Whoever takes a close friend of Mine as an enemy, I declare war on him. My slave does not draw closer to Me by anything more beloved to Me than that which I have made obligatory upon him, and My slave continues to draw closer to Me by doing nafl (supererogatory) deeds until I love him, and if I love him I will be his hearing with which he hears, his vision with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. If he were to ask of Me, I would surely give to him; if he were to seek refuge with Me, I would surely grant him refuge. I do not hesitate about anything that I want to do as I hesitate to take the soul of a believer, for he hates death and I hate to hurt him.” This hadith clearly and concisely highlights the way to become a close friend of Allah, may He be exalted, for the one who wants to be one of His close friends.”

    Hifzul Qur’an ft. Fatima, Aysha & Hawwa

    The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: It is said to the owner of the Qur’an: Read, go up and Recite, as you used to recite in the abode of the world, for your position is at the last verse you recited. Narrated by Al-Albani, in Sahih Al-Jami’, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, page or number: 8122, authentic. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: The Companion of the Qur’an will come on the Day of Resurrection and say: O Lord, loosen it, and put on the crown of dignity, then say: O Lord, increase it, so he will put on the garment of dignity, then he will say: O Lord, be pleased with him It will be said: Recite and recite, and each verse will be added to a good deed. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, in Sunan Al-Tirmidhi, on the authority of Abu Hurairah. The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: The best of you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it. Narrated by Al-Bukhari, in Sahih Al-Bukhari, on the authority of Othman bin Affan.

    Assalamu Alaikum, here is the Part one of things we normalize that are actully Haram or not encouraged. You might be familiar with alot of the things said in this episode but they particullary pose as a reminder, considering the fact that most of them are things that have been normalised as i said earlier. Hope this becomes a costant reminder to everyone listening to this and may Allah (SAW) make it easy for us.
