The Women at the Well Podcast is a place to discuss where women meet Jesus. Our host, Mary Cox, is Director of Women’s Ministry at North Metro Baptist Church in Lawrenceville, GA. Most women go through seasons in their lives where they find themselves navigating the unexpected, and through this podcast Mary will introduce you to women whose lives have been changed from their encounter with Christ. Just like the woman at the well in John 4, when we come face to face with Jesus He knows all about our story and longs to give us living water that only He can provide. He provides what we need most (Himself) and all we need to do is accept what He offers us. Every month you will be introduced to someone who has faced something unexpected but has learned that Jesus makes all the difference in all those moments.

Ep 8 | Fully Surrendered, Fully Loved

Ep 8 | Fully Surrendered, Fully Loved

Our Women’s Ministry Director, Mary Cox, is joined by Telisha Chisuta for our live podcast recording during one of our Coffee at The Well events. Telisha shares openly and honestly about the faithfulness of God during times of trying to do things her way. Can’t we all relate to some degree that when we struggle to fully surrender to His Word and His ways our life can be unsettled and without His peace. As she shares her heart, Telisha is vulnerable while discussing the journey God had for her to set aside the desires for self and embrace the desires of His heart. Telisha graciously imparts wisdom from her experiences as we hear how a life fully surrendered gives way to a life that can be fully loved by the Savior who cares for every detail in our lives.

    Ep 4 | Persevering in God’s Will

The Bible tells us that God has a plan for each us. But how do we persevere in His will and know what He has for us? Our guest, Laura Ford, is a fantastic writer, speaker, and Bible teacher that is no stranger to North Metro. Laura shares with us her insights in navigating God calling us to serve and then surrendering to Him as our final authority. Many times, we can get into our own head, and we find ourselves willing to give up. God encourages us to not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The harvest of blessing, peace and abundance are priceless when we exchange our way for God’s way.

Ep 3 | How Am I Going to Get Through This?

We believe we know God and what He desires for us; however, in those dark and lonely moments we can face the unexpected with Him by our side and walk through finding joy and peace that we never imagined.
