WordPress 6.6, alias Dorsey, has been released, marking one of the most significant updates to WordPress in many years.

The WordPress training site continues to evolve and is testing a new block-based theme that will improve navigation.

Although a minor version of a plugin may not seem important, this version is significant after more than 2.5 years without updates.

Various attacks on WordPress user accounts have led to several plugins being compromised, allowing access to thousands of sites.

Although there are still a few weeks left until the release of WordPress 6.6, we already know almost everything this new version will incorporate.

Having dynamic elements in the block editor was still possible thanks to shortcodes... but that will change with Bits.
