Hail To Joey!!!
It takes a lot for me to actually sit down and write something like a review, but I must, for “Words Of Power” has quickly become one of my favorite podcasts ever. There’s so much content out there that obviously we are only able to listen to a small amount of it, but if you are able, do yourself a favor and do not miss this one. You don’t need to be a diehard metalhead or even a fan of the band Manowar to enjoy this podcast, and that is a phrase I see repeated throughout the reviews here. Joey is just a great goddamn storyteller, and he has an endless well of stories from which to draw. Not only has Mr. DeMaio survived in a completely insane business that has literally killed many lesser men, he has and continues to thrive in it decades later, breaking new ground and creating art that will live well beyond all of us. That, in and of itself, is a remarkable achievement, believe me. His guests perfectly complement the topic of each show, and the knowledge and experience he shares with us is a real world education for anyone trying to get into this business, or anyone interested in the history of it. Keep up the great work, Joey! Hail and Kill!
