Words to Use and Lose in Your Next Job Interview, with Tracy Hooper

Find Your Dream Job: Insider Tips for Finding Work, Advancing your Career, and Loving Your Job

Do you pay close attention to the actual words you use in an interview? We all say, “um” sometimes, but does it really matter? If you feel nervous when meeting with a hiring manager, you might use fillers, disclaimers, or hedge words. If you’re ready to lose the words that sabotage your confidence, Tracy suggests recording yourself, working on losing one hedge word per month, and practicing using positive language.
