    WAYLT - I Am Woman

    Although we are 51% of the population, it is as we still have to fight for equality even in 2024 and my question is why? I ask that question even more as a black woman.  Equality for all really would make the country a better place.  That is my goal for sure.  I am a black woman.

As we get older being true to one's self is sooooo important.  Things you may have wanted to when you were younger may not be the same things you want when you're old and what I have learned is the power to have the wisdom and discernment to recognize this.

    It's 2022.  We made it through 2020 and 2021 with the unexpected pandemic.  I am thankful to have my family, friends and myself managed to stay happy, sane and healthy during this time.  Although, the pandemic is still happening, I feel inspired and believe that things will change.

    WAYLT - The Land of Confusion

    Trump, Covid-19, the insurrection, the GOP and just plain hot mess drama.  What is going on with the USA.  It has always been racists, but looks like things may be trying to creep back to the 50s and 60s.  Not on my watch it won't.  Freedom and Justice rule!!
