WSPL Podcast Series - Old Time Radio "Our Miss Brooks

WSPL Podcast Series

The Western Sullivan Public Library and The Act Underground Theatre Company present a vintage 1940’s Radio Series beginning with Our Miss Brooks, written by Al Lewis and directed by Greg Triggs, with sound effects by Alan Kehoe.

In our premiere episode, “The Balloon Dancer”, our Miss Brooks, Madison High School’s sardonic English teacher, is reluctantly tending the office of Mr. Conklin, the grumpy Principal, while he runs an errand. Miss Brooks post eye exam blurred vision leads to mistaken identities involving a stripper, principal Conklin, and the president of the board of education.  Hilarity rules!
