She is an international development worker with Dimagi- an international organization on a mission to build technology that improves the efficiency and quality of impact-driven work globally. She serves as Director of Project Delivery in 6 countries across Agriculture, Education, nutrition and HIV prevention. Our guest also works as Pipeline and Reports officer with the World Food Program. She is a recipient of the highly acclaimed Princeton in Africa Fellowship and a graduate of Vanderbilt University where she bagged a Cum Laude (Latin for Honors) in History and Political science and a minor in French! Connect with people by being more open ft. Brian Castro
This week’s guest I connected with while traveling through Cotonou, in the Republic IG Benin. He was sat by the pool and I overheard him and his colleagues having the post progressive conversations around travel and sustainable lifestyle, I knew I had to connect with him. Brian is an American born to mexican immigrant parents, working in international health consulting, based in Washington DC. He’s been In Cotonou over the last 10 days doing post evaluations after the government of Benin introduced RotaVirus vaccines.
We gab about what it’s like to get into International Development work, how to manage teams in four countries, go-to secrets of connecting with people by learning languages and what it’s like to be a Gay male traveling through countries with mostly anti-LGBTQ+ laws.

From conquering bullies in high school to meeting the Queen, sitting on the same board as Prince Harry and supporting thousands of young persons across the globe to scale their progressive, problem solving ideas, this week’s guest is an example of what it means to be a part of the #InsaneArmy.
On this episode, i am joined by Gambling addiction campaigner and Queen’s Young Leader Award winner, Adam Bradford, a young social entrepreneur and one of just three UK winners of the prestigious Queen’s Young Leader Awards, a Commonwealth wide initiative. Adam was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, a form of autism, at the age of 11. He was determined to set up his own business and gained a place at the Peter Jones Enterprise Academy. He launched an IT social enterprise and set up a mentoring and business challenge in his home town of Sheffield. He has since supported more than 1,000 young people to set up community projects, social enterprises and campaigns for social good. Adam also works to raise awareness of autism and gambling addiction and has worked with young ex-offenders to turn their lives around.
