12 Ghosts

Please pleas bring it back! I love the revival of the old Christmas tradition of telling scary stories by the fireside. This was done so well. I listen to it every year now. I’d love a session 2!

I know I am a little bit late to the game but I just found this show when I started getting back into podcast. And honestly it’s rare for me to ever consume any form of media that isn’t about true stories. Usually I find fiction shows as something that’s a waste of my time and brain space. But I decided to give something different a try and I have always enjoyed Lore and the written is Next level so I figured give one of his shows the chance to change my having. And let me just say… this entire show is amazing but I just listened to episode 5: You again. And the writing was perfection. Honestly it brought me to tears. And through a whole slew of other emotions. When something does that to me I have to give it the praise it deserves.

Each story pulls you in, and I find myself on the edge of my seat. Love this series!! Very sad that there wasn’t a season 2. Please bring it back in 2024 and beyond.

This was truly wonderful to listen to! Ghosts represent different things in different types of stories. Sometimes grief, anger, or regret. Sometimes memories. But this one was really hitting on sadness, melancholy, and being tired/wanting rest it was really beautiful and worth listening to, and towards the end, when the framing device comes back into prominence, it really ties together/wraps up everything. Beautiful and satisfying. Worth listening to again.
