A podcast that gets to the bottom of social anxiety (why it holds us back, how it does so, and what we can do about it) so that you get to the top where you believe you’re worth knowing. The truth is that social anxiety can permeate all areas of your life to the point where you no longer know where “you” begin and where your “social anxiety” ends. Here are some of the topics I'm going to cover in this podcast:- Cognitive distortions & how they affect your social anxiety- Triggers and safety behaviors- The different types of social anxiety- Myths we're holding on toAs much as possible, I combine first-hand experience and my own journey with social anxiety with evidence-based studies and research. My hope with this podcast is that you’re empowered to show up comfortably and confidently as you, whatever that looks like, at any moment.

Avoid these 6 passive aggressive phrases

Avoid these 6 passive aggressive phrases

It’s easy to miscommunicate and to resort to passive-aggressiveness. Here are some phrases that shouldn’t come out of your mouth unless your goal is to come off as passive-aggressive.This is the article link: 6 Passive-Ag...

    Rude dude on the train

I made my way by train to another city to meet my best friend for a movie date, but on the way there I encountered an unpleasant situation. One that I usually do my best to keep silent on (because of social anxiety). This time I decided to speak up for myself and those around me. I hope this inspires you to do the same if you run into something or someone like this. Super helpful!

Every episode is so different yet so valuable. Honestrox breaks down her social anxiety while also bringing in real-world examples and research to validate what it means to have social anxiety. I especially loved listening to her interview with Joanna, and how she broke down the steps to asking a stranger for something many of us with social anxiety would never dare to! Highly recommend this podcast.
