Yule Time Plans and Being Thankful! Witchy Mamas

In this episode I share with you my plans for Yule, Christmas, and the holiday season.
After a medical emergency last week that left me spending a night in the hospital, my recording schedule was shot, so here I am this week discussing Thanksgiving, friends, and Yule.
It's a short episode but packed full of ideas for celebrating the holiday season with your kiddos.
Yule is a time to give thanks to the returning sun and warmth, it’s when the sun is reborn. On the eve of the Winter Solstice, I’m going to give each child a floating red candle that will burn all night to welcome the returning sun.
Some other activities we'll do through December:
—Make handmade Yule cards
—Bake
—Make salt dough ornaments
—Go look at Christmas lights
—Read books
—Make cinnamon stick pentacles ornament
—Decorate round cookies to represent the sun
