Season 1 Recap & What's Next?
Y’all! It’s my birthday this month and the end of Season 1 of the Zoom In Podcast!
Thank you for listening, for following, rating, sharing, leaving comments, opening emails all of the things! Thank you thank you!
In the words of Snoop Dogg, I wanna thank me for believing in me [LOL]. In my bonus episode I said I wanted to be proud of the work I produced this year and this podcast from the planning, interviews post production and sharing is no small feat and I’m extremely proud.
My goal was to share the stories of Black women photographers and that was achieved! Thank you to Rhea Whitney, LaTara Sturgis, Takiyah Wallace, Terri Baskin, Shakira Hunt and Mecca Gamble for sharing your truth, your knowledge and for being a part of this experiment. I love you all and I’m sure we’ll see each other on the ‘gram and hopefully in person in the future!
During this short episode I’m sharing my 7 takeaways from this season and a few updates on what’s next for the podcast & me.
Let’s get into this episode!

Mecca Gamble is ready to share her story
Good Morning & welcome to the final interview episode of Season 1 of the Zoom In Podcast. As always, thank you to everyone who has listened to season 1!
This Week’s Guest
I think you’ll learn after this episode you’re learn that Mecca Gamble is more than a branding photographer for Black women. She is also a visionary + creative director and someone who is growing in real time, which is reflected in this episode.
I may be biased but I’ve loved every episode of the Zoom In Podcast and my chat with Mecca feels like the perfect end cap to this season.
