Zuke - Playing live, fueling creativity and being authentic in the music scene

High Frequency Podcast

Hi everyone, thanks for tuning in to episode 28 of the High Frequency Podcast. Unfortunately, when I recorded the intro, the video did not record. However, if you want to listen to the full episode including the intro, head over to Spotify, Apple podcasts and my soundcloud (links below) and you can listen to it there.

Introducing Zuke: the electronic project from producer & synth-wizard, Ed Zuccollo. With a reputation as a musician, producer and DJ, Zuke has earned a loyal following through a decade of extensive touring across New Zealand. A staple of the country’s eclectic festival scene, Zuke performs DJ sets of original material, live sets with keys, hardware and effects, and in various live band settings.

Elements of jungle, dubstep, house, techno, breaks and DnB fuse together through the set, visiting melodic beauty, body-rippling basslines and the occasional field trip through deep dark labyrinths. Zuke is an immersive soundtrack to a movie that doesn’t exist.

Today we chatted all about creativity. How to fuel it and where to find it. We also talked a lot about his journey to where he is today by simply being himself and doing exactly what he loves to do.

I would say Ed is authentic and almost endearing in his manner. You can clearly see and feel his passion for music and exploring sounds which is why he is the perfect guest for the podcast today.
